Garden High School Sonarpur is an English-medium coeducational school, which will eventually comprise classes from Nursery (+3 yr age group) to Class XII.

The School Motto:
‘Let knowledge lead to wisdom, and wisdom to emancipation.’

The School aims at a compromise between the ideal and what is practicable in existing conditions.

Affiliation will be sought from the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Delhi or CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations), New Delhi.

The school will be run on the same ideals and principles as its sister institutions that have already earned a high reputation in both academic performance and co-curricular activities.

The foundation stone of this building was laid on 07 February 2022 by Sri Indranath Guha, Chairman, Satikanta Guha Foundation. The School building is located on a 12 acre plot at Raipur, Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas. When complete, this building with a covered area of about 1.30 lakh sq. ft, is expected to accommodate all classes from Nursery I to Class XII.

The first Academic Year of the School begins in April 2023.
